Service Changes Due To Inclement Weather

Due to the inclement weather, C-CARTS will not be running the Eagle Express routes on Tuesday morning. As street conditions improve, though, we hope to resume service as quickly as we can.

Fare-Collection Will Resume on August 16th

C-CARTS suspended fare-collection in March 2020 as a way of shortening passenger interactions with the operator and reducing risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Starting on Monday, August 16th, C-CARTS will resume fare collection.

C-CARTS Service Reductions

Due to a driver shortage, C-CARTS has shifted to a reduced service model starting on Monday, November 8th until further notice. We are currently keeping our morning service intact for as long as staffing levels allow. However, our afternoon service will be reduced to match our usual holiday service. For more information, please look at the information under the "Deviated Fixed-Route" page, under the heading for the "Reduced Service" route, or call us at 217.344.4287.

Thanksgiving Service Reductions

C-CARTS will not be in service on Thursday, November 25th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Friday, November 26th, C-CARTS will be running reduced service. Because of the service cuts, the afternoon service will not change, but the morning service will follow the routing and timetable shown on our Facebook page.

Full Eagle Express Service Resumes January 4th

Starting tomorrow, January 4th, C-CARTS will resume the full scheduled Eagle Express service in both the mornings and afternoons. The reduced service will be replaced with the traditional North, South, and Direct routes.

Winter Weather Warning

Due to the severe weather over the next few days, there is potential for service cuts or suspension. This is an alert to check in with C-CARTS, either by calling us at 217.344.4287, visiting us on Facebook, or checking our website at c-carts.com.
Our goal is to avoid service reductions wherever possible. However, depending on weather and street conditions, it may be unavoidable.
Currently, our plan is to start service as normal tomorrow (Wednesday, February 2nd). Beyond that, though, check in to make sure you have the most up-to-date information that we have.

Winter Weather Update: C-CARTS Service Ending Early on Thursday, 2/17

WINTER WEATHER UPDATE:
Due to the projected weather this evening, we are cancelling service early on Thursday, February 17th. We will not be running the evening Eagle Express routes this evening.
If C-CARTS transported you between towns today, please call us at 217.344.4287 for possible options for getting you home.
We expect to run regular service starting tomorrow, February 18th.

C-CARTS Service Reductions - April 4th

Due to the driver shortage, C-CARTS will be implementing service reductions on the Eagle Express starting Monday, April 4th.
For passengers riding the Rantoul Eagle Express, morning routes will be continue as scheduled. Afternoon service will be reduced to two vehicles in Rantoul and the regularly scheduled Rantoul Connector.
 
We expect this reduction to be temporary, so stay tuned in coming weeks for more information.

Reduced Morning Service for May 27th, 2022

Due to a shortage of drivers, tomorrow morning, May 27th, the morning Eagle Express in Rantoul will be running on reduced service similar to the afternoon routes.

We expect to return to the full Eagle Express routing in the morning on Tuesday, May 31st, though we will continue the reduced afternoon routing until further notice.
