Rural public transportation in Champaign County was operated by CRIS Rural Mass Transit District from February 2011 to September 30, 2014. Champaign Urbana Mass Transit District (CUMTD) began operating the service on October 1, 2014, under the name C-CARTS. Historical tables illustrating the system's service performance pertaining to trips provided, denied trips, and service miles and hours can be found at the bottom of this page. Note: C-CARTS began operating a deviated-fixed route within the Village of Rantoul, and a connecting route to Champaign-Urbana, in November 2016. Trip type, lift use, and senior trips reported on this page and in the archived documents beginning November 2016 only reflect the demand-response service.
